A different way to view the world famous Ironbridge, also taking in the beautiful scenery and fascinating history of the Ironbridge Gorge on the River Severn.

The trip begins at the Merrythought Teddy Bear factory, now also home to Eddylines Canoes and Kayaks, Ironbridge Brewery, Ironworks and The Gallery.

The raft trip takes you past many of Ironbridges museums the first one being The Museum of the River, then it is under the famous bridge itself for an alternative tourist view and on through the wooded gorge and under the newest bridge, The Freebridge.

As the trip continues it encounters “Jackfield Rapids”, past Jackfield Tile Museum and next under The Memorial Bridge. We then pass the Tar Tunnel, the Hay Incline Plane and the famous Coalport China Works.

The journey finally ends at “The Woodbridge” public house, the last pub in the Ironbridge gorge.
